Rise and Soar

Our journey began in Cadiz, KY, as the proud owners of Stuff In Balloons, a business we cherished and nurtured with the amazing support of our local community. As an Army family preparing for an unexpected change of station, selling Stuff In Balloons was a bittersweet decision. We were so happy when a local couple bought the business and made it their own.

In the end, the Army decided we were not on the PCS list, and we would remain in Kentucky. After the sale of Stuff In Balloons, LeAnn’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for creating personalized art kept nudging her toward something new. Because the “Needs of the Army” can change quickly, we knew that it was important to create a business with the flexibility to move with us if required. With experience in sublimation, engraving, and laser cutting, we embraced the challenge of building a business that could travel wherever the Army calls us next.

For the past year, since the sale of Stuff In Balloons, we’ve made lots of jewelry, custom patches, pet tags, wooden signs and ornaments and, of course, plenty of mistakes trying to get things “just right” so we could introduce you to our new adventure. Our home studio serves as the heart of our creativity, allowing us to design custom items in a variety of mediums, perfect for any occasion. Most of our products are completely customizable and made to order allowing you to create something uniquely personal.  

You’ve heard that when one door closes, another one opens. In our case, when one dream ends, another begins. Rising from the ashes of one dream is Soaring Phoenix Studios, a new dream with a new direction. The best part? If the Army says it’s time to "move out," we take our passion and creativity with us, ensuring that no matter where life leads, we’ll be here to bring your ideas to life.
